This is my favorite place in Kansas City. It's on the Kansas side, not the Missouri side, but it still counts. It's the Prairie Village Pool, my favorite place to go during the summer. I love to swim laps, jump off the diving board, and suntan for hours. Reading a book on a chair beside the pool, or listening to music, gives me a great sense of peace.
Just like the time when I got back from Nam in the 70's. I wonder if my leg is still over there?
