So this assignment was about weight, spacing, and overall, movement. We had to animate a pendulum swinging, and we could also add our own little twist to it. I decided to make it a happy little spider. Awww, look, he thinks he's Superman. :) It turned out alright, not great, but hey, I'm still learning.
the movement is a little jittery at some points, but I love how you really create this illusion of texture. The way the spider's limbs flop about, and the string has some great natural contours really adds to the work.
